With family roots reaching back to the founding of our country, Virginia has Quaker ancestors who arrived with William Penn. At least two other ancestors fought in the American Revolution but her most famous ancestor is Benjamin West, the artist. And, of course, there is her grandfather, Guy T. Viskniskki, who started The Stars and Stripes newspaper.
Virginia is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Kentucky Historical Society and the Stars and Stripes Association. She has two children, four step-children and thirteen grandchildren.
