Fall Photos

Here are some photos from different shows we have been to this fall.  I think you can click on each photo to enlarge it and see more of a description.

The first photo is of Virginia at the Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival in Winchester, Kentucky.  While everyone outside was boiling in 90 degree weather, she was inside the air conditioned gym, feeling rather chilly.

The next four photos are from the Penn's Store Great Outhouse Blowout.  We didn't sell very much at all but had a great time meeting people and watching the Outhouse races.  Different groups of people build their own outhouses and bring them to the blowout and race them.  One person rides in the outhouse while four people pull it.

The last three photos are from the Constitution Square Festival in Danville, Kentucky.  Since we were pretty close to home, we had lots of friends stop by to see us.  We had a great time catching up on the news with everyone.  Plus we did quite well selling our books.  And the weather was perfect.

You can see Russ in our booth as we were getting set up one morning.  The next to last photo is of our friends, Steve and Nell Demaree, who were also at the Festival.  Hopefully, you can see Steve's book titles in the last photo.  He writes the Hilltop mysteries and some inspirational books while Nell makes and sells purses.
